Valorization of research data

Valorization of research data

Axis director: Isabel Fortier, University, and Frédéric Dallaire, Université Sherbrooke

ODISÉ Network members, and the Quebec research community as a whole, need access to quality data, diversified expertise,
as well as easy-to-use, high-performance and secure data infrastructures, technologies and processes. In addition to creating
leverage, this will strengthen collaboration and maximize the potential of our Network members’ research activities. Quebec is a leader in the development of perinatal and intergenerational cohorts targeting the determinants of child health, generating large quantities of high-quality data and samples every year. Although specialized methods and technologies are
available or under development here and elsewhere, these resources are often difficult to access or little known.

Objectives :
Facilitate access to these resources and optimize collaboration between investigators who:

1) collect data of interest to research in mother-child reproductive health;

2) analyze these data to generate knowledge and;

3) develop methods and technologies to support research (e.g., software, good practice guidelines).
